If you’re sad, it’s because you’re bored! If you were preoccupied then you wouldn’t have time to be sad. You’re not busy, that’s why you’re sad!

Josh: You know how many times my parents would tell me, “If you’re sad, it’s because you’re bored”

Josh: “You need to work hard. When you’re preoccupied, you don’t have time to be sad!” I’m like…what are you talking about?

Josh: “It’s cause you’re not busy. That’s why you’re sad!”

Asia: Oh, no. That is such an immigrant parent mentality. Like, I can’t handle it.
